Metric notes · 3 (why numbers can differ from a platform's own dashboard)
**Metric change (from late September 2026)**: GSC clicks, impressions and average position now use site-level totals, matching the Search Console overview — including clicks from low-volume queries Google hides for privacy, so they are noticeably higher than before. Query-level lists (top queries, striking distance) still cannot see that part, so they add up to less than the total — a Google limitation, not missing data. The **last ~2 days are preliminary and Google revises them upward**; every sync re-pulls and overwrites that range.
GA4 is still processing the last 24–48 hours; standard reports may also sample, group sessions without a source under (not set) and aggregate in the property's time zone — small differences between the API and the UI cards are normal.
GSC clicks (a search result was clicked) are not GA4 sessions / users (what happened after landing): they are counted and deduplicated differently, so don't expect them to match.
